Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker, born April 22, 1990, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, actor, and songwriter. His dual genre of alternative rock and hip-hop is what earned him fame. He released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010, before signing to Bad Boy Records. The debut album Lace Up (2012 which peaked at the 4th spot on the US Billboard 200), included his smash single "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flam. The albums he released in the second and third years, General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017) were able to achieve similarly successful commercial success. The latter also contained the hit song "Bad Things" (with Camila Cabello) and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018), featured rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall was released in the year 2020. The album marked an unorthodox departure from hip hop , and was a step into pop punk. The track "My Ex's best friend" was the first single to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200. It was the first rock album to be able to attain this position. The album was followed by the Mainstream Sellout (2022) that had him achieving the same commercial success. Since then, he has been seen in the thriller Nerve (2016), the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence, as well as the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
