Jessica Biel was born in the United States as an American model, actress, and a singer. When she was a child she was modeling. She was a member of Young Actor's Space after receiving an award at a convention. Mary Camden is the main character in 7th Heaven from WB. Her role in the series led to her becoming a household name however she was concerned about the image of Mary Camden as an "good girl" would limit her abilities to act. On the Gear magazine cover Jessica was dressed in a bikini in an attempt to defy the stereotype. Jessica's actions caused quite a bit of controversy with her fan base. Jessica resigned from the TV show 7th Heaven after performing in the sixth season. The movie Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance in it as teenager Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. The film even awarded her the title of Best Supporting Young Actress for this movie. This comedy movie Summer Catch bears the proof of her incredible acting abilities. In spite of her outstanding performance, Rules of Attraction was not an immediate success. The horror film The Texas Chainshaw Massacre brought her to the attention of the public. Also, she has worked in suspense and thriller films.
